Live to work or work to live?

Who can tell me what’s the meaning of live? I am a little confused by my thoughts. I though for a while lonely. By the end I summary my own answer that is I work to afford my life and work will become my life.

I define my life is live to work before 35 years old. I am willing to devote all my time and efforts to work. In other words, I am working very hard for a visible promotion and long term professional career. I would like to earn more and more money in order to  afford my life and my family. Through hardworking, I’m able to meet my dream of material life, such as house, car, beautiful things and so on. The all what I’ve mentioned are a preparation for my future life. I believe the high quality life won’t be far under the firm financial support. As a member of young generation, I have no reason to stop fighting  for a better life. There is no doubt that hardworking is the most practical way to realize my dream. So I want to say that I will choose live to work as I’m young.

On the contrary, I choose work to live without hesitation after 35 years old. At that time, I will pay main attention to my family and life. It’s time to spend a lot of time and energy to my kid and family. I will enjoy life, and spend more money for travel, party, sports, charity and something else. It’s time to enjoy to do what I want to do without financial pressure. During the period, work just occupies  a  small part in my life. I earn money by work and have fun form work. I enjoy work but not only rely on it for fun.

Things That Make Me Happy

Sunset near the beach:  A walk along the marine lines gazing at the departing sun and listening to the splashing sea waves on the wall… swinging in and out… walking by the chaupati, where you can feel the cool water on your feet, and the rushing sand under the toes…

Laughing: When my family sits together, and we laugh on most minor and trivial issues till we get rolling on the  floor!

A hug from my love: Feels like I am the most protected person on this earth…! It’s a speechless experience where 26 alphabets and millions of word combination become so trifling to explain…

The family fight: No, no!! Not the real one! It’s what we called as love wrestling!! It’s our family game!!We fight like small kids, but we have fun as if we are best pals!!  We have battle with most hits and most kissed! Normally the match is between me and my dad where mom is a referee! Its total fun for which I, infact we 3, wait eagerly every time!

Pani-Puri: Muumuu! Dont have words for that! My mouth has already started watering…  Bye… I am out to have those!!

Till the time you keep commenting! Cause each new comment I receive I do get very happy to see those comments!! I am sure you will make me happy!!

A Question

When I was child I used to love traveling by trains. Sitting by the window used to be so much fun, during the day as well as during the night. I used to enjoy looking at the green fields, big piles of hay covered with a clay overcoat, goats and cattle running around in the fields and sometimes, when there was a road parallel to the railway line, I used to look at the traffic and see if anyone was willing to race with us. At night time, you can’t see anything outside but if you concentrate, you see light glows popping out of the horizon as if the sun is ready to rise.

You may even spot a number of them. These dim glows are the lights at far off places. It could be from a major city, a factory, a lonely house of a farmer who somehow managed to get a generator for his domestic use or from a mosque in a small town.

These glows used to fascinate me. I would just stare at them and wish that if I were able to fly I would fly to them. I was curious to see how many people would be there and what would they be doing, what would they be thinking. I was curious to know if I was as important to them as they were for me. I was curious to know if they ever wished that they could grow wings and come see me sitting by the window of a train, passing miles away from their town. Such a childish thought

Time passed by and I grew up. God gave me opportunities to see the world and meet people of every race, religion and language. Had experiences to groom myself, friends to cherish, moments to remember and stories to share. Now when I get to travel in a train and look outside the window I don’t get the same feeling anymore. I no longer feel the curiosity to grow wings and fly to see what lies within a light glow, miles away from our moving train. How do people live there and what are they thinking. Somehow, it doesn’t matter to me anymore.

Is this a blessing or a curse?

Futile Weekend

A famous person once said; "You're either very creative or very disastrous when you're not you".

Now who could that famous person possibly be...

Doesn't ring a bell???

Okay, fine! I just made it up!

I came back to my blog because... seriously, I had nothing else to do. I could study, but that would do nothing but annoy me some more. I could watch movies, but I've had enough already (*impossible!*), I could listen to some music but that didn't contain me either.

Well, lets just talk about this crazy thing called 'Weekend' then. I've been giving this thing a significant proportion of my 'Recommended Daily Allowance' of thoughts lately.

What is a weekend? Now in the language of law, "that is a question of fact". For some, it is no different that a weekday, as it was for me a couple of months ago. However for some, it could mean coming back to life after having a robotic week.

Right now, I have this kind of 'strategy'. To make the most of the weekend! But you know, international fluctuations in the oil prices do affect the extent of fun a person can have.

So ultimately I'm just stuck here on Weekend doing nothing but writing this blog while I should be out partying or checking out some movie at the cinema.

Now, how could a weekend be put to use in its entirety?

Maybe by meeting old friends. But that won't work if they're busy shifting places or studying or watching Football! (:D)

So, after writing another useless blog post and without reaching a consensus, I'm gonna go and think of some new ways of making the most of the weekend.

*Watching some more of HOUSE...*

*Reading some already-read book...*

How to enhance your Movie-Watching experience !

Watching movies is one of the best ways to utilize leisure time. In particular those movies which are thought provoking and a treat to your visual senses. The best way to enjoy movies is to realize the actual purpose behind their creation --- that is to have a good time. Movies can be a real treat when someone stops being judgmental and turns the 'fun mode' on.

Its true, some movies can get really really painful and its just impossible to tolerate such movies for more than a couple of minutes. Some movies just don't make any sense and they're straightly directed toward the audience of quite a similar kind --- which don't make any sense.

My theory regarding a good movie is somewhat like this:
  • Movies which ultimately leave you in a satisfying mood.
  • Movies which touch your emotions and you start caring for the characters.
  • Movies which are evaluated by your own senses as 'GOOD'.
If this criteria is met, why ever listen to those stupid critics then. The only job those stupid critics can do is to spoil your movie watching experience. Thank God I never followed those mentally retarded people, otherwise right now I too would be one of those cognitively lost and pessimist guys who have unfortunately lost their ability to see the bright side. All they can do is criticizing, criticizing and criticizing.

The fact that nothing on Earth is perfect or flawless can never be denied, it all depends upon how you evaluate it. You can even mess your own life up just by pointing out all the negative aspects of it, it all depends upon how you look at it. Just these two factors, perception and attitude, can lead you to happiness only if you have the ability to use them for your own good.

Well, lets get back to movies. Now if a simple movie guy watches a scene from an average movie which just makes him feel good, he will be satisfied with it.And at the same time, if a psycho critic (who's favorite hobby is to take out flaws from the darkest of the depths) watches the same scene, all he will do is he'll ignore the emotions emanating from the screen and drive his thoughts toward all the retarded flaws which are naturally prone to be there in everything.

Now my theory for enjoying movies:
  • Ignore stupid critics who will completely spoil the movie for you and beware ! They'll drive your thoughts to the 'restricted' area.
  • Appreciate a movie if it makes you feel good.
  • Watch it, enjoy it, have a good time and ultimately forget it if you want to. Don't be a super-hero who's on a mission to make this world a place for flawless movies.
Hope you have a great time watching your favorite movies. Cheers !
